This is the home page for Upton Karate-do Shotokai. We practice in Upton upon Severn, Worcestershire, UK at The Hill Centre. The Lead Coach is Rob Kinnersley, who has practiced karate-do for over 25 years, and is part of the Yuudansha Group of Zenshin Dojo based in Bristol. The club offers Junior and Senior practice sessions each Friday.     Our philosophy is one of belnding modern coaching (teaching and learning) methods with the traditional values of Shotokai karate-do as a Martial Art with an eye on the needs of a modern society.     We hope you will enjoy browsing our site. You may want to 'give it a go' and that's no problem. We don't ask for large up-front fees and seek to make access as easy as possible (physically, financially and emotionally). We're a friendly club and will welcome guests with the hope that they will become longer term practioners and friends. We're happy to answer queries and questions and are very open in that way.     We all hope to see you soon !
